Description
Your pup my have permanent fear and anxiety if they miss early socialisation.
If your pup has not become confident about new things before the critical age of around 16 weeks, they may remain full of fear and anxiety for the rest of their lives. If you don’t want to attend group classes (or can’t start until later), and you want to avoid puppy diseases in public areas, how can you socialise your pup?!
Puppy Socialisation Skills are what you need!
This Puppy Private session is for puppies between 8 and 14 weeks who have started, but not yet finished their vaccination series. Your Puppy Socialisation Assessment includes:
- a 1 hour visit to practice introducing your pup to new things;
- a socialisation plan for you to follow – tailored to your pup’s needs;
- follow up with extra guidance as needed.
Your 1 hour visit is in a private, disinfected outdoor setting. You and your trainer have plenty of space for social distancing. The training area is free of puppy pathogens and nasties like parvovirus. Your pup may get to meet an adult dog, a human or two, maybe a duck, while they explore a new environment.
You will get tips and inspiration for socialising your pup through these difficult, socially restricted times. During your private session, I will find out what resources you need most. After your visit, you will be sent detailed puppy socialisation and training information. You will get a follow up call to see if you need additional help.
Good socialisation prior to your final vaccination is vital to your pup becoming a well adjusted adult dog.
Puppy Socialisation Skills is booked per 1 hour session. Location is Swan View.
